Sydney Raye Wood has been "on the scene" since 2023, when they began to post their content to social media to build up a fanbase of other guitarists, from here they quickly grew to over 1,500 total social media followers, before then being found and featured by Fender Guitars, who showcased and praised their playing to the world.

Currently based in Nottingham, Sydney has rocked up the scene already, going from a nobody to headlining venues such as "metronome", "rough trade", "saltbox", and "pepper rocks" in just a matter of months. They have also been requested for a number of appearances on NottsTV, as well as going on to win the Confetti Institue "Gig Project", a battle of the bands style event that had 100's of muscians compete to create the best gig pitch, marketing material, and performance, which was then decided by a panel of industry experts such as "Spencer Wells". 

After the release of splendid lady, they quickly gained the attenation of Nottingham DJ "Dean Jackson", who then gave the single some airtime on a number of BBC Radio Stations... Locally, sydney has worked closely with their hometown station "Burton Radio", who have been delighted to play the tracks, as well as invite sydney for interviews on both "The Snoozy Breakfast Show", and "Local Queeries"
